After a long gap of 50 years, the American space agency NASA’s Peregrin 1 Lunar Lander left for the moon. The Valcon Centaur rocket of the United Launch Alliance took off with the lander.

According to the information shared on the social media platform X (X), everything happened according to the plan. In the very first launch, the second stage booster of the world reached the orbit after about 15 minutes after going to the deep space.

It is currently estimated that Peregreen Lunar lander will land on February 23 at the mid-latitude area of ​​the moon. This area is called sinus viscosititis or a bay of stickiness. This mission becomes important because after about 50 years, an American mission is going to land on the moon.

In 2022, the US sent the Artemis-1 mission to the moon. But that spacecraft did not land on the moon. Artimis-1 had dodged the moon. NASA is going to launch Artemis-2 mission in 2024. The astronauts of the Artimis-2 mission will be sent to the moon. However, instead of landing on the moon, they will return to the moon.

Landing on the moon is not an easy task. Only selected countries including America, Russia, India have been able to land the mission on the moon. America is the only country to deliver humans on the moon. He too had done this feat 50 years ago. Since then, America’s profession has been limited to the moon.

Peregreen 1 Lunar Lander is a commercial venture, developed by Space Robotics firm Estrobiotic. If the mission is successful, it will be the first landing of a private company on the moon. Apart from this, this Apollo will also be the first soft landing of the US after the 1972 mission.
