According to WABETAINFO report, WhatsApp plans to introduce a feature through which video and music audio can be shared during the video call. However, this will happen when the other user shares his screen. This will benefit those who want to entertain by sharing multimedia content for some time during long discussion. The ability to share video and music audio in real time during screen-sharing is expected to increase interaction on the platform.
Talking about other news related to WhatsApp, support for HD (High Definition) photos and videos was started in August this year. Now this feature is being improved. Whatsapp is allegedly testing a new feature that will allow users to share HD photos and videos in their status updates. The upcoming feature is seen in the WhatsApp Beta version 2.23.26.3 on Android, which is available for use through Google Play Games Beta Program.
Currently, WhatsApp compresses the photos and videos uploaded by users to the status update. Competitive service like IMESSAGE and Telegram allows photos and videos upload to HD. With the introduction of new features on WhatsApp, users will not have to move to other platforms.
