Whatsapp is working on a new feature that allows users to share the file with the contact nearby. There is a feature in the new beta version of WhatsApp on Android (2.24.2.17) that facilitates file transfer through Bluetooth. Recently, Google and Samsung improved the built-in file-sharing feature, Near share on Android and changed its name to Quick. Here we are telling you about the upcoming feature of Whatsapp.

This new capability will provide the facility to share the file on Android phones and Windows and Chrome OS PCs. In comparison to normal technology such as transferring files on chat or using cloud storage, it provides a more fast and better solution to users by transferring size files up to 2GB.

According to WABETAINFO, both users must be in the app “People Nearbai” area to transfer. End-to-end encryption will clear that the file sharing WhatsApp default setup is as safe. It is worth noting that users have to move your phone to start sharing. End-to-end encryption effectively manage and provides security for privacy by transferring files.

This new function will be useful for the general WhatsApp user. However, it does not look much necessary given the recent quick share upgrade by Google and Samsung. If it works on both iOS and Android, then this function of WhatsApp can be very useful. The file-sharing function of WhatsApp is allegedly developed and may be available in the upcoming version of the app. However, it is not clear when it will be brought to the stable version of the program.
