The US company Hulet Paycard (HP) remains the top level with the market share of 26.3 per cent. However, the company’s sales have been 6.1 percent lower. The company has a market share of 29.4 per cent in the second half of 2014.
Gartner’s research director Vishal Tripathi said, “Consumer shopping contributes 48 percent in this market.”
He said, “The Indian PC market weakened due to low demand for industry in the quarter. This again shows that the business atmosphere has been weak in the second quarter of 2015.”
Lenovo’s market share increased from 14 per cent to 18.1 per cent in the quarter under review. Dell’s market share increased by 2.7 per cent in the last one year, while Acer’s stake decreased by 3.1 per cent.
During this period, the stake of Essed PC declined by seven per cent to 44 per cent. During this period, the laptop market decreased by 18 per cent.
