Google’s Google Pay Soundpods will soon be seen in abundance in the market. The company has announced a rollout, whose information has also been given in the blog post. Let us know that Google Pay Soundpod is a kind of audio devices that help in tracking the QR code payment through sound alert. You must have also seen the soundpod of Paytm while paying online through QR code. Now soon similar devices will be available with merchants for Google Pay. Google recently revealed that it has participated with NPCE International Payments Limited (NIPL) so that UPI payments would also be available from outside India.
After Paytm, PhonePe and Bharatpe, Google is the latest company launching a soundpod in India. Paytm first started receiving payment alert through Soundbox. The company launched its soundboxes in 2020 when Corona epidemic spread across the world including the country.
Google has said that traders can signup through Google Pay for Industry App to use audio notification service. According to money control, the company offers daily plans, and annual plans for this. After choosing the plan, the service can be used by starting the daily settlement option. In the Daily Plan, the merchant will have to pay a one -time fee which is Rs 499. After which, for 25 days a month, five rupees daily will be deducted from the settlement account. In the annual plan, Rs 1499 will be deducted from the Settlement Account of Merchant.
Google Pay Soundpod Audio Alert Service will be available in 6 Indian languages besides English, including Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, and Gujarati.
