What is frb
FRB (Fast Radio Burst) occur bright explosions of radio waves. Their duration is in the millisecond-scal. This is the reason why it is difficult to detect their source and decide their position in space. The ‘Fast Radio Burst’ was first discovered in 2007. Since then, scientists have been working towards finding its original source. These explosions produce as much energy in a thousandth of a second, as the sun does in a year.
It is challenging to detect FRB 20220610A, but this gives scientists an opportunity to make them stand up to the past. As far as this signal has come, it shows that it was born in a galaxy far away from our galaxy. It tries to tell about the procedures that scientists have not even thought about.
This study has been published in Journal Science. Fast radio burst has been detected by the team of Dr. Stuart Rider, Estronomer of McCery University. He is expected to detect the source of FRB with the help of Advanced Research Technique, as well as help in understanding the basic principles of the universe.
Australian square kilometers used to use Australian Square Era Pathfinder (Askap) to detect FRB 20220610A. The team also tried to find the source. However, it is yet to be successful.
