According to the report, China has so far completed two such landings on the moon, which are in its far side ie remote area. In 2019, Chang’e 4 Mission did this work and now Chang’e 6 has landed in the remote area of the moon, which is a dark area. No other country has done this yet.
If everything happens according to the plan, Chang’e 6 Mission will create history in the coming days. The aim of the mission is to raise samples from the moon and bring them back to the earth. This will give the researchers a chance and for the first time they will be able to see the sample of the remote area of the Moon closely.
It is a robotic mission, which Chinese scientists have worked hard to complete. The mission was launched on 3 May. Its purpose is to bring a sample from the part of the moon, which is always away from the earth. Chang’e 6 mission entered the moon’s orbit just four days after the liftoff. For the next few weeks, it wandered in the orbit and the landing was planned as per the plan. It is being told that it made a soft landing on the surface of the moon without any puppet.
For the next few weeks, the lander will stop the moon’s landing site and collect about 2 kg samples which will include dust and stones. Some samples will be taken from the surface, while some samples were raised 2 meters deeply. It is expected that the samples collected will return to Earth by June 25.
