One such information has revealed that a malware named ‘Autolycos’ has been found in 8 apps present on the Google Play Games Collect. This malware was giving them a premium service membership without telling users. It is worth noting that these 8 apps have been downloaded by more than 30 lakh people so far. All 8 apps affected by malware have been removed from the play store. If you are using these apps, then there is a need to take steps immediately. Uninstall the apps immediately. Do not download the APK file either.

• Vlog Star Video Editor – It has received 1 million downloads.
• Creative 3 -D Launcher – It has also received 1 million downloads.
• Vav Beauty Camera – It has received 1 lakh downloads.
• GIF Emojit Keyboard – It has also been downloaded 1 lakh times.
• Razor Keyboard End Theme – Download 10 thousand times
• Freedlo Camera 1.0.0 – 5 thousand downloads have been found.
• Coco Camera V1.1 – 1 thousand downloads have been received.
• Kellytech Funny Camera – 50 thousand times download

Autolycos malware was discovered by security researcher Maxim Innrao. Originally it was reported from a blemping computer. All the 8 apps in which this malware has been detected has been removed from the plaster. However, it is said that in doing so, Google took 6 months time.

Experts are saying that if you have downloaded any of these apps, then the app should uninstall immediately. The folder or file related to the app should also be removed and the phone should be resumed. Apart from this, do not use the link given on social media while downloading any app. It is said that these apps were promoted on social media and millions of users downloaded them.
