Xiaomi Mijia 550L refrigerator has been priced at 1,899 yuan (about Rs 22,700) in China. It is available on JD.com, but currently it has been launched only in the Chinese market. No information has been revealed about global launch or its arrival in India.
The total capacity of the refrigerator is 550 liters, of which 332 liters of refrigeration and 218 liters of freezer are given. The company says that this space is enough for a family of three people to store up to two weeks. Apart from this, it contains four big drawers and six wide bottle racks, which make it more practical for daily use.
The special thing is that Xiaomi has given a silver ion deodorization system in it, which claims to eliminate bacteria up to 99.99%. Also, more than 90% smel is also finished. This system is directly given in the Refrigeration Chamber, which keeps the freshness in the food and does not cause bad smell.
Talking about the freezer, it can freeze 7 kg in 12 hours and about 14 kg meat in the whole day. In both sections, dual inverter technology has been provided for temperature control. Xiaomi claims that this refrigerator is Energy Efficiency Level 1 Certified and can save about 8.3% of electricity every year.
It has no-frost air cooling system and flat air duct design, which keeps equally cool and prevents frost freezing. The company also stated that its noise level is very low.
