Xiaomi launches kite free frame rate gaming testing app, will test the device’s performance

Xiaomi has announced a new software application – Kite, developed for special gamers. This is a frame rate testing application for software games. It gives gamers a chance to check the performance of its device for a particular game in its Android smartphone. In simple words, through this app, users can check how their device is performed for a particular game.

According to Xiaomi, the new app is available for free in China. Regarding this frame rate testing app, the company claims that it offers a professional grade thermal optimization tool with accurate data. Xiaomi says that this tool does not affect the performance of the phone, and also reduces power consumption.

It is reportedly a simple plug and play test, barely a power and can be run in a 24/7 background.

Xiaomi says that the Kite app currently supports many popular Android smartphone models. In addition, it is compatible with various popular CPU architecture and even many versions of Android. However, at the moment it does not work in iOS, which means that it will not be able to use iPhone and iPad users.

According to Gizmochina, the company ran a game for 40 minutes on the Xiaomi brand smartphone in the Power Consumption Test. During the testing period in gaming, power consumption by Kite software was about 15ma.
