Xiaomi launched Wi-Fi router for Rs 1,199

Along with launching Xiaomi Redmi 4 handset, the Chinese company has also introduced the Mi router 3C in India. The Wi-Fi router is priced at Rs 1,199 and will be available from May 20 at Me Home Store in Bangalore. At the same time, it will be available from May 23 on the company’s own e-commerce site Me..com. Apart from this, Xiaomi Me Router 3C will also be made available from June 8 on Amazon India and Flipkart.

Xiaomi Me Router 3C is the first router launched by the company in India. The company says it is easy to use. Big claims have also been made about speed and range. It can be setup and controlled through the Me Wi-Fi app. This app will run on Android and iOS devices.

The Xiaomi Me Router 3C has an Antina with four best performance. The company has said that every antenna has its own PCB circuit. It is reported that 2 transmit and 2 receive antenna design have been used in this router. The company claims that this technique improves the Wi-Fi range and also brings stability in the signal.

It is reported that Xiaomi’s new router has 64 MB RAM which is eight times more than the common router. Its wireless speed is 300 Mbps. It can connect 64 devices at a time. It supports 802.11 N Wi-Fi protocol at 2.4 GHz. It has two lan ports and one van port. Apart from this, three colorful LED indicators have also been provided. Its dimensions are 195x107x25.3 mm and weighing 241 grams.

As far as the Me Wi-Fi app is concerned, Xiaomi says that users will be able to keep an eye on the bandwith in real time. The user will also have a parent control.
