Xiaomi Canny Door Lock E30 (Chinese -translated name) has been launched in China. It has been priced at 699 yuan (about Rs 8,300). The company is selling it through Xiaomi Youpin. The company says that free on-site installations and China year warranties will also be provided to customers.
Xiaomi’s Smart Door Lock E30 has nine unlocking methods, including AI-Powered Fingerprint Recognition, Long Term and One Time Password, Unlocking via Bluetooth in the phone, emergency mechanical keys and unlocking through Xiaomi device like smartphone, smartwatch and bands. The company claims that the fingerprint sensor is very efficient and can identify in less than 0.5 seconds. Its accuracy rate is stated to be 99.29%.
For safety, the new Xiaomi product includes anti-tamoring and anti-prevention techniques, a falls opening detection sensor and a C-Lock Lock Cylinder to prevent forcible entry even when the outer panel is removed. This includes triple-proof lock body.
With one year of battery life, the lock can be operated through the Type-C External Power Bank in an emergency. Users can control the lock from a distance through the Xiaomi House app, which also sends an alert when the doors are tampered with or being half open. Xiaomi Canny Door Lock E30 also supports hyperos connectivity.
