And the name says it all! Wychwood is yet another mystery-laden forest in Oxfordshire, England. The forest is believed to be haunted by the ghost of Amy Robsart, the wife of the Earl of Leicester. The story says that back in 1950, the lady mysteriously broke her neck and died. Few years later, her husband went hunting in the forest where he saw his wife’s spirit who told him that he would die soon and meet her. Soon after the incident, he fell sick and died. Now locals believe if someone sees the ghost of Amy in Wychwood, they’ll also die just like the Earl of Leicester.
