Which smartphone is better?

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 3 smartphone proved the company’s major success last year. The company sold more than 2 million smartphones in the second quarter of 2016. It is obvious that people had high expectations from its upgraded variants. And once again, by presenting the Redmi Note 4 at a very reasonable price, Xiaomi has tried to live up to the expectations of the customers.

Today we will compare Honor 6X and Asus Zenfone 3S Max with Redmi Note 4. Both these smartphones have also proved to be a good option at a price less than Rs 15,000. Along with this, we will know on different parameters which feature is the best in which phone. And which smartphone is better according to your need. Let’s know

design
All three smartphones come with a metal-clad body. But we feel that the edges of the Redmi Note 4 are slightly thin. If you have a Redmi Note 3, then you may not find the design of the new phone very attractive. Talking about the surface, it looks like a variant of the previous year to a large extent. But Xiaomi has made some changes in the design of the phone so that the Redmi Note 4 gives more premium and it is easy to hold it with one hand.

The beauty of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 increases the beauty of the winding edges of the display. And the rear gives a much better grip than the previous smartphone. On the other hand, the smooth texture of the body in Honor 6X does not provide good grip while Asus Zenfone 3S Max is a bit heavy due to the big battery.

Winner- Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

Display
Honor 6X and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 have a 5.5 -inch full HD display. Zenfone is behind both of these phones in terms of 3S Max display as it has half the rest of the resolution display. However, the phone has a slightly smaller 5.2 -inch display. Talking about Xiaomi and Honor, the brightness level of Honor 6X is very good. Color reproduction is also fantastic and the phone can be read well even in sunlight. The Redmi Note 4 is also not very far behind and it also gets very good color and viewing angle.

Winner – Honor 6X

Software
All companies have given Android with their customization. Here we will advise you to adopt Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 for a mild and polished look, but the latest version of Android 7.0 Nougat has been used in Zenfone 3S Max. Comparing MIUI 8, the ZenuI feels a bit old, which needs improvement. The same is the same with Honor’s EMUI 4.1, which is excessively complicated. Xiaomi and Honor should upgrade your phone to Nougat in the near future, but if you want to enjoy the latest version feature of Android, then Asus is a better option for you.

Winner – Asus Zenfone 3S Max

Performance
In this segment, the Redmi Note 4 can be competed with as Xiaomi is ahead by a big margin. The phone has very good components in terms of price. App and games run easily without stopping Snapdragon 625 octa-core chip.

In Honor 6X, Huawei has its own Kirin 655 octa-core processor which does not look as strong as Qualcomm on paper. But it does all the work very well without heating the phone without heating. The MediaTek MT6750 chip given in Ausas Zenfone 3S Max is lagged behind the remaining two but the general performance is fine. However, after playing video or playing games, the phone becomes slightly hot.

Winner – Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

battery life
In our testing, it was found that once charged, the three phones run for a full day. In our video loop test, the battery of Redmi Note 4 lasted late, which was a bit shocking. Because we hoped that Asus Zenfone 3S Max would last longer due to its big battery and low resolution display. The good thing is that it has a pump express 2 for rapid charging, so that the battery is charged very fast.

Winner – Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

Camera
All three phones bring the best landscape and close up shot in good light. However, Asus Zenfone 3S Max was better than both of them due to the best camera performance in low light. Detailing in pictures is not very good but the pictures do not have much noise. The camera app comes with a very good manual mode with a live histogram and a 3-Xis level. The Redmi Note 4 has a better 13 -megapixel camera than the old variants, but the company still needs to improve performance in low light. Our experience is also with the 12 megapixel camera of Honor 6X, but there is a secondary camera for the depth of field which can be fun. Video recording of up to 1080 pixels can be done from all three phones and there are many types of shooting modes.

Winner – Asus Zenfone 3S Max

Our decision
Talk about value, it is very difficult to beat Xiaomi Redmi Note 4’s 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage with Rs 12,999. Talking about battery life, design and performance, it overtakes the other two rivals. Camera performance in low light is a segment where we can expect better results. But in overall performance, the Redmi Note 4 is far ahead of both the rest of the phones.

Where it is easy to recommend buying this phone, but it is difficult to buy it before sold out. Apart from this, Honor is also organizing a flash cell to sell his phone and it is not right according to us. Therefore, Asus Zenfone 3S Max smartphone is a very good option for the Redmi Note 4. It is easy to buy online and the rest of both phones are much better in camera and software. The low resolution display disappointed us but the small size display has tried to make up for it.
