The Vivo V5 (Review) Mid Range segment has a new selfie smartphone that will compete with Gionee S6S (Review) and Oppo F1S (Review). The price of all these smartphones is close to Rs 18,000. Know which of these phones should you buy?
design
The design has no scale like this and to a large extent it depends on private choice. But after using these three phones, we can definitely say that Oppo F1S is the best. And its weight, design and beauty have a balance. The Vivo V5 is out of the race here. However, it looks good but its plastic body is not worth comparing with the metal given in the remaining two phones. Gionee S6 and Oppo F1S are made of metal body and they weigh 166 grams and 160 grams respectively. However, the Oppo F1S is the thinnest with a thickness and gives the most polished compared to both phones. Apart from this, due to its curved edges, it is easier to use than Gionee S6S.

Display
The display is an important part of any smartphone. And in this, the Gionee S6S comes easily as the winner. Due to full-HD resolution, this phone defeated Oppo F1S and Vivo V5 with HD screen. The color reproduction is also quite good. We did not have trouble reading anything on the screen even in sunlight. All three phones come with gorilla glass support. In such a situation, you will not have to worry for any kind of scratch on the screen. Oppo F1S finished second in terms of display performance. Even though its resolution is low, the color reproduction was very accurate. The display of Vivo V5 is very diverse. Many times there was more saturated which everyone would not like.

Software
All three smartphone maker companies use their version of Android. It is shocking that all three versions are seen copying Apple’s iOS in some way or the other. Vivo’s FuntchoS 2.6 is based on Android Marshmallow which is a good thing. But the interface is excessively complicated. Oppo’s color OS 3.0 is the highest polished but it is still based on Android Lollipop. For this we will choose the Gionee S6S which runs on Android Marshmallow and the Amigo 3.2 OS also has several customization options. Trouble is just one, in this version, there are many app installed on your phone. Sadly, you cannot even remove them.
Performance
All three smartphones have used the octa-core MediaTek processor. The benchmark results of the three are also almost the same. The MT 6753 chipset is used in Gionee S6S, while Oppo F1S and Vivo V5 of MT6750 chipset. If you look at the benchmark results, the Gionee S6S proves to be the weakest, but the difference is not too much. However, in graphics test it falls too much backward.
In Vivo V5 and Oppo F1S we will go with Vivo, as it has 4 GB RAM compared to the remaining 3 GB RAM. Its difference will not be seen in the beginning, but after one year when your phone has more apps, 4 GB RAM will prove to be effective. The phone did not disappoint even in common use. By the way, let us tell you that the Oppo F1S 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants have started getting Rs 18,990 in the market.

battery life
The battery of all three phones went easily for a day. But the Gionee S6S beat the rest to a great extent. It has a larger 3150 mAh battery than the remaining both phones. It lasted 13 hours 10 minutes in our video loop test. And it was also charged with zero to 100 percent in about two hours. You will not get this benefit from Vivo V5 and Oppo F1S.

Camera
The camera is the most important part of these phones, especially selfie camera. During testing, we found that the Oppo F1S has a better camera of the rest. The 16 -megapixel front camera takes high detail pictures. And it does not disappoint even in low light. The screen flash feature of the Oppo F1S is much better than the F1S. This has been possible with more bright display, but it is not fully effective for darkness. In this situation, the Moonlight Glow of Vivo V5 is the most effective.
We have chosen Oppo F1S in this category due to its capable rear camera. Gionee and Vivo’s phones fall behind in this department. Oppo F1S takes photos with a 13 -megapixel sensor with sharp and details. There is noise in pictures in low light, but the quality of the photo does not affect much.

If you look at the score, we cannot tell any one phone to the winner. By the way, Gionee S6S was launched for Rs 17,999, but it will be available in the market for Rs 14,800. Oppo F1S of Rs 17990 will be yours for Rs 16,400. However, the price of Vivo V5 remains Rs 17,980.
Gionee S6S is better in terms of batteries, software and display. And it is also the cheapest. In such a situation, the decision to buy it will be the best. If your priority is the camera and the design is also important to you, then consider the Oppo F1S.
The Vivo V5 is the most expensive phone of these three. It is better than both of them in terms of performance. However, it falls behind in the rest of the department.
