Whatsapp will no longer run in these phones, backup chats

WhatsApp has stopped support for Apple users running phones on iOS 9 or old operating systems. The company has given this information on its FAQ page. WhatsApp continues to remove support for the old OS version from time to time. This time it is the turn of iOS users. The company has clearly written on its FAQ page that Whatsapp will not support those devices that are working on the Apple device iOS 9 or older version. This means that you have to update the software version at iOS 10 or more.

Whatsapp has told on its FAQ page that now iOS will not support WhatsApp on 9 or older versions. To use WhatsApp on the iPhone, it is necessary to have iOS 10 or subsequent version in your phone. WhatsApp wrote on its FAQ page, “To get a better experience of all the features of WhatsApp, our advice is to use a new version of iOS on your phone. Go to the Apple Support website to know about updating the software of your iPhone.”

Not only this, WhatsApp further wrote “We do not stop the use of gelbroaked and unlocked devices. However these changes may affect your device’s ability to work. We do not support phones that use modified versions of the operating system of iPhone.”

Let us know that the iPhone 4S is currently working on iOS 9. The company has not given iOS 10 to this series. This shows that users running iPhone 4s or earlier models will no longer be able to run Whatsapp. If you are also using models before the iPhone 5, our advice is to backup your chats in iCloud. After this you can restore them in a new version device.
