Whatsapp will get design adjustments Darker Unlit Form Redesigned Navigation Untouched icons to Extra


Whatsapp has made several changes in the mobile interface design for both iOS and Android platforms. Some new changes are quite small, while others are more clearly visible. There are some other changes like chat filters in the layout, which are said to help improve navigation. The company says that these changes keep the app easy and normal and increase the function. With the new changes, the iOS and Android layouts of the app are more likely in the earlier match.

The company claimed in a blog post that after considering more than 35 color palettes, the new Green WhatsApp interface was chosen. For Android, WhatsApp has also got a dark mode with high contrast and deepper tone to reduce eye stress in low light condition. The Whatsapp icon is also updated with a rounded, outline look. They are new animations and redesign photos similar to them. The original default doodle background has also been new.

As part of the design overhaul, Android users also get navigation bar below on WhatsApp. This feature was rolled out in March this year. IOS users get a new attachment layout with an extended tray instead of full-screen menu. The recently introduced chat filters with a separate tab for unique messages and group have also been redesigned. The previous report suggested that WhatsApp is testing a new zoom control feature that will allow users to switch the photos directly in the app or switch the video between several zoom options.
