According to the feature tracker Wabetainfo, the new in-app dialer can appear as a floating action button (FAB) in the call tab. Along with this, users can avail whatsapp calling and even on the numbers that are not saved in the smartphone. It is being said that this feature has been seen in the Android beta app version 2.24.13.17 of WhatsApp.
In addition to calling, users may be able to save the contact from the dialer to the address book of the smartphone, either as a new contact or as an update of an existing contact. Apart from this, a messaging option is also said to be present for those who wanted to call someone in the beginning but changed their mind and now they want to send Whatsapp messages to them.
It is being speculated that it will also give the efficiency to check whether a given number is registered on WhatsApp or not. The feature tracker suggested that the new in-app dialer is available for selected users who are registered in the Google Play Games beta program as the beta tester of WhatsApp for Android app. However, some devices of our team, which are on the latest beta version, were not visible until while writing the feature.
According to another report, WhatsApp has allegedly introduced new and more dynamic stickers. It is being said that these stickers show more smooth motion due to new supported Lotti Framework. It allegedly enables the development of more dynamic animation produced on motion graphic design software such as adobe nearest results for native rendering on mobile devices.
