A screenshot shared by WABetaInfo suggests that a message will inform users that within the app, the screenshot of the profile photo has been banned for the security of all the users inside the app.
The purpose of this feature is to strengthen the privacy by using users from capturing and spreading profile photos without the clean consent of other users. However, according to the report, individuals can still use optional devices or cameras to capture the photo. The in-app ban on screenshotting is expected to reduce the unnecessary sharing of profile photos.
This upcoming WhatsApp feature is ready to play an important role in reducing the risk of spreading the profile photo from taking the screenshot from taking screenshots. The report claimed that this feature is currently underway. This is expected to be included in the upcoming update of the app.
Along with this, WhatsApp is allegedly testing another feature to increase the users experience on Android platform. This new feature named “Filter” will provide users a separate tool to rapidly compile the list of their favorite contact and group from the chat tab. This will provide additional users to the favorite contact and a special chat with the group by providing easy access and priority to special chats.
