Messaging app WhatsApp (WhatsApp) has announced the rollout of its ‘community feature’ worldwide including India. Some time ago its beta testing was started. Under the feature, different WhatsApp groups will be allowed to organize group conversations by bringing them together. WhatsApp is also going to bring many more features. The most important of these is the option to add 32 people in group video calls. The limit of participation in WhatsApp groups is also being doubled. Now 1024 people can be added to WhatsApp group.

On Thursday, CEO Mark Zuckerberg of META, owned by WhatsApp, announced the global rollout of ‘Communities’. Under the feature, a group conversion can be organized by bringing different WhatsApp groups on a ‘community’. In ‘Community’, new tools will also be given to the admin. For example, which groups should be sent to a message, the administrator will be able to control it.

In a statement, Mark Zuckerberg said that we are launching ‘Communities’ on WhatsApp. This improves WhatsApp groups. We are also rolling out the pole as well as bringing video calling for 32 people. Mark said that all the features are safe with end-to-end encryption, which means that your messages remain private.

WhatsApp community feature will be available to all in the next few months. It is expected to benefit schools, local clubs, NGOs etc. With the help of communities, groups like school, residential society, friends will be able to bring it to one place, that is, WhatsApp community will be formed by combining many WhatsApp groups. This feature will fight platforms such as telegram and iMasage.

At the same time, polls can be done on WhatsApp group through pole feature. Now 32 people can be added to group video calls. WhatsApp has said that this feature is already present for voice calls. This limit will now apply to group video calls. Apart from this, the WhatsApp group will now be able to add up to 1,024 members, this limit is currently 512 members. The limit has been increased from 256 to 512 earlier this year. All the features will come in a phase way, so you may start getting these features after some time.
