According to a report by Wabetainfo, WhatsApp update tracker, instant messaging platform has started sending new interfaces to some users. The report states that not all users who sign up for beta program are not getting this feature as the company is currently doing a limited testing. The new interface does not bring new features, but rains the position of several sections of the platform in the area designed on the sidebar.
The new WhatsApp web interface also comes with a dark mode based on the screenshot shared by the publication, which will provide better reedability for some users who prefer black-back-white-text formats. Chat, community, status updates, channels, archives chat, starred messages and even broadcast messages can be seen on the icon sidebar. It also provides better navigation for starred messages and archive chats as the current variants do not have single-click access to them.
With the new interface being available for beta testers, the report also said that this feature can be available to all users in a few weeks. Meta is working on many features for WhatsApp. Last week, Gadgets 360 saw a new Meta AI Chatbot on WhatsApp for users in India. Later this feature was also seen on Instagram and Messenger and Meta Spokesperson has allegedly confirmed that the company is testing this feature in the new area.
Earlier it was reported that WhatsApp is working on a link privacy feature, where users will get the option to close the link preview. This feature was designed to hide any look that could show the thumbnail and short decryption to those who were monitoring the chat.
