Whatsapp is going to take a big action. He will block all such accounts that are being used for fraud calls. On Tuesday, this information was given by Union Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav at a program. WhatsApp users have been facing trouble for the past several days. Calls, messages are coming from numbers with initial digits like +1 (217), +62 or +232. In most cases, the aim of calls coming from such numbers is to cheat people. Recently, complaints had reached the government that the number of fraud calls on WhatsApp has increased.

In view of the increasing complaints, the government was also active. Recently, IT’s Minister of State Rajeev Chandrasekhar had said that his ministry will send notice to WhatsApp on the problem of calls coming from unknown international numbers. He said that it is the responsibility of digital platforms to ensure the safety of users.

At an event on Tuesday, Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the government has spoken to WhatsApp about this. All necessary steps will be taken to protect the users. He informed that the instant messaging platform is ready to dyurgist the numbers with which the numbers are being fraudulent. The minister also informed that to remove such numbers, she is also talking to other messaging platforms including Telegram.

In the last few days, WhatsApp users are getting international spam calls in the country. Many users complained about this on social media platforms like Twitter. Unacadmey co-founder Gaurav Munjal also tweeted that what is happening on WhatsApp, so much spam. At the same time, WhatsApp has said in its statement that we are grateful for the approval of the Minister of WhatsApp commitment for users safety.
