According to Gizmochina’s report, in particular, the popular social media platform Whatsapp announced it in Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 Tournament. While earlier the process of transferring chat history was complex and it could include third party apps, it seems that the company is now offering a simple solution. Currently, Samsung smartphones will first be compatible with chat transfer in iPhones. However, we may soon expect this feature available for more iOS and Android devices for some time in the near future.
WhatsApp said that a user chat history is encrypted on its own devices and migrating the chat with voice notes has led to many technical problems. But it seems that the company is working with the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer to overcome this barrier. Facebook -owned messaging firm said that “WhatsApp will introduce your entire WhatsApp chat history in an easy and safe manner – including voice notes, photos and conversions – if you choose to switch to mobile operating systems.
It further states that this feature means that people will be able to switch between the platforms of their choice, and will be able to take their WhatsApp history with them. This feature will be available to users of both Android and iOS systems – which means that people will be able to switch from Android to iOS and iOS to Android. It will initially begin to start on Android and on Samsung’s latest Galaxy phone. Users will be able to take their WhatsApp history from iOS to Android device and later they will be able to do the same on iOS devices.
