Whatsapp has introduced two new safety features for India. Their name is flash call and message level reporting. The flash call feature will be useful during the registration process on the app, where it will be present in addition to SMS Verification Option. WhatsApp says that both these features have been introduced to keep the experience of users secure. It is worth noting that apart from end-to-end encryption, WhatsApp also offers many safety features such as-blocking the contacts, with whom to share, to lock the app with the help of control, disorder message and touch ID or face ID.

As part of its efforts to make the app more secure, WhatsApp has started flash calls and message level reporting features. With the help of flash call service, users can verify their phone number through auto calls while setting WhatsApp on the new phone or while installing WhatsApp in the old phone again. That is, people will not have to wait for OTP to come during SMS verification. This feature is currently available only to Android users and allows WhatsApp to verify the number by calling on the phone. WhatsApp claims that this is more safe option, because everything in it is inside the app.

At the same time, WhatsApp users can now report WhatsApp accounts by marking a special message. For this, after pressing that perticular message for some time, the option to report or block the user can be achieved. In his latest transparency report, WhatsApp says that it banned more than 2.2 million accounts in September.

Talking about other safety features offered by WhatsApp, the user has the control of who can see their profile pick and who is not. Similarly, last scene, abouts and stats can also be controlled. That is, whatever you want, only you will be able to see your status, last scene. Those who want more security and more security, they also get an option of two step verification. The company also introduced dispensary messages and viewing in the past. With their help, a photo and video disappears when the user sees it once.
