The beta version of WhatsApp for Android is allegedly getting a new update, bringing a very useful feature for users. So far, users cannot do any video on WhatsApp as per their wish. However, a feature is seen in the new update, which adds forward or backward button to the video. The platform added a multiple profile feature in the previous version of it.

According to WABETAINFO’s report, Whatsapp Beta has received 2.23.24.6 update for Android, with a new feature. Currently, this feature has been allegedly released for some beta testers and will be delivered to more testers in the coming times. The new update has seen that now users can use some additional buttons for better control on video.

While playing the video inside the app, it can be skipped, for which the button of front or back is added to it. The website has shared a screenshot, in which it can be seen that it is now possible to skip the video forward and back by double-tap to the left or right of the screen. This feature looks similar to YouTube. With this, users can now easily navigate in the video received or sent. This means that now you can proceed to reach the most important part of a video without using the Progress Bar or rewind something to see something again.

The report further states that the feature of the video forward and rear is available for a limited number of beta testers, which install the latest WhatsApp beta for Android updates from Google Play Games Pack, and will be made available to more people in the coming weeks.
