Whatsapp begins checking out 60 2D conditions updates QR Code Scanner Shortcut for UPI Bills

WhatsApp is testing two new features that will make it easier to share long videos as a status update and make it easier to pay fast Peer-to-Pier (P2P) through UPI. These new features were seen on the recent beta version of WhatsApp for Android by feature tracker Wabetainfo. When these features are released to all users on the table channel, users will be able to share 60-second videos on their status and will be able to scan any QR code immediately to send money to other users or merchants.

The feature tracker saw the capacity to upload videos up to 60 seconds on WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.7.6. The new beta version of the app is being released for users who have signed up to get the beta version of the app. It doubles support from the current 30-second limit to the status update from a video upload to the status update. However, WABetaInfo revealed that users would also have to install a new beta version to reach these long status updates.

WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.7.3 was released for beta testers shortly before the new update. It provides a new feature that will allow users to make UPI payment with some taps. Instead of tapping on the Three-Dot menu and selecting payment> payment QR code scan, beta testers can tap on a separate QR code scanner shortcut above the main chat list. It is present on the left side of the camera and there are search shortcuts on the right corner above the screen.

The messaging service recently began to close the capacity to capture the screenshot of users’ profile photo on the new version of the app for Android smartphones. While Pixel smartphones will capture a full black screenshot and refuse to take a screengrab citing the security policy of other Android smartphone devices.

The recent beta version of WhatsApp for Android includes a capacity to pin several chats on the top of the screen. This will allow users to immediately access the top of their chat list without searching more conversion without searching. With the updates of the app in the coming weeks or months, new QR code scanners, long status updates and expanded chat pinsing can be found for all users on stable channel.
