Whatsapp Backups on Android Will Quickly Get Started Counting Google Account Cloud Warehouse Prohibit

Google has announced this change. The company has said that WhatsApp chat and media backup on Android will be counted in the user’s cloud storage limit from December 2023. It is to be noted that till now Google used to offer free storage to Android smartphone users to backup WhatsApp chat. This storage used to be extra from 15 GB storage received with Google account.

The disadvantage of new changes will be to users whose cloud sterilization limit has reached close to 15 GB and has to prepare a large backup of WhatsApp chats and media files. This change for the beta users of WhatsApp is starting from December 2023. In the first half of 2024, this change will be applicable to all Android users.

Google says that the free storage of Android users is much more than the free storage found by Apple in the ICLUD. In the coming time, if Android users have to backup WhatsApp chats and the storage on the cloud is over, then users will have to empty storage first. The good thing is that Google offers a special tool to its users to delete large sizes together. Google users who have a subscription to Google Workpace will have no effect on this decision.
