In addition, monthly blue moon also occurs. This happens when there are two full moon in a month, then the second full moon is called blue moon.

The full moon of August 19 is not only a blue moon but it is also a supermoon. Supermoon means that the moon will look quite big in the sky today, because it will be closest to the Earth. Supermoon and Blue Moon occur once in a few decades.

According to Time and Date, the Moon will rise in the capital of India at 6.57 pm. However, the full moon moon will start appearing from 11.55 pm. The blue moon does not mean that the moon will look blue. The moon can be seen in the sky for the next three days. For better view, you should turn away from the city where the dazzle of the city is less.
