Weighty luck for isro gaganyaan venture cryogenic engine trying out a success

Venture Gaganyaan: Rapid work is going on on India’s ‘Mission Gaganyaan’. According to PTI report, the ‘CE-20 cryogenic engine’ of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) has proved to be successful in the last tests. It is being seen as a big success for ISRO. The cryogenic engine is to power the ‘cryogenic phase’ of the LVM launch rocket for the Gaganyaan Mission. ISRO says that hard test shows the engine capabilities.

What is Mission Gaganyaan?

By 2025, ISRO Space is aiming to send Indian astronauts and Gaganyaan is the name of this mission. This will be India’s first human space mission. ISRO aims to send three astronauts to space. The mission was planned for 2021, but it was delayed due to the ongoing Corona epidemic (Covid-19) at that time.

The mission will be launched first without astronauts

Under this mission, three times spacecraft will be sent to space. The first two flights will be unmanned, that is, no asset will go into them. In the third flight, astronauts will be sent to the space. ISRO’s plan is to keep humans at an altitude of 400 km for three days in the lower orbit of the Earth. If everything goes well, after America, Russia and China, India will become the fourth country in the world to send humans in space.

ISRO says the last test was done on 13 February at the ‘ISRO Propulsion Complex’ Mahendragiri to take the last test flight conditions, which was the seventh test of the series. ISRO has said that all the ground tests of the CE20 engine for the Gaganyaan Mission have been completed.
