Truecaller’s office was inaugurated by Electronics and It State Minister, Rajeev Chandrasekhar in a virtual manner. In a press release issued by the company, it has been reported that this office capacity with more than 30,400 square feet of space is about 250 workers. It has modern technology and facilities available. Truecaller has about 33.8 crore monthly active users and out of these 24.6 crore users are from India. The company says that there are unique opportunities to launch new products and services on the platform of Truecaller in India. Truecaller stated that the feedback he received has helped improve solutions, which is important for its growth and innovation capabilities.
Chandrashekhar congratulated the company and said that the Truecaller’s decision to open exclusive office in India shows the growth of the country as a worldly technology partner for the world. He said, “The emphasis of the central government is on enabling entrepreneurship and strengthening innovation and startup ecosystem. One of the world’s fastest growing ecosystems so far is the result of many years of hard work in which our Prime Minister has included India in the major goals of making a strength in technology.”
The company’s CEO and co-founder, Alan Mamedi, said the new office of TruColor in Bengaluru confirms the company’s continuous investment in India. He said, “We want to continue to fulfill the needs of India’s Digital Society with Best Experience, Safety and Privacy on our app.” The world’s second largest smartphone market is increasing interest in foreign devices like Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi and Vivo in India as well as apps and technology companies.
