IND vs AUS Live Updates: The India-Australia second T20I has been reduced to an eight overs per side, with the toss at 9:15 PM. The match will start at 9:30 PM. The umpires conducted three inspection, before deciding the give the match a green light. The toss was earlier delayed due to a wet outfield. India look to level the series after losing the first match in Mohali. The death bowling has been India’s Achilles heel, failing to defend a 208-run total in the series opener. Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s form, especially, has been the topic of discussion. The star pacer was taken to the cleaners in the first T20I, as well as the Asia Cup. It will be interesting to see whether Bumrah makes his comeback, and if he does, who will make way for the star pacer. Australia lead the series 1-0, and are likely to stick with the same playing XI. (LIVE SCORECARD)
India (probable): Rohit Sharma (capt), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Axar Patel, Harshal Patel, jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal

IND vs AUS: Revised playing conditions
Latest start for a 5-over match is 9:46 PM. If the match doesn’t start by that time, the game will get washed out.
The players are in their training gears inside the dressin rooms.
IND vs AUS: Fingers crossed!
The umpires are inspecting the conditions out there. The area they are most concerned about is at a wide deep mid on and the ground staff have been focusing on it. Clearly the water from the heavy rain has all pooled in that spot over the last few days and it hasn’t dried. Perhaps there was a gap in the covers there.
IND vs AUS: Groundstaff grinding it out
The groundstaff is doing its best to get the outfield ready for the match. But again, there’s only so much you can do when the bowlers’ runups have soaked up water that may have seeped through the sheets. Now, we can only wait and hope for the best.
IND vs AUS: Is a full game possible?
There is no official confirmation about the official cut-off time for a full match to happen as the toss has not been held yet. If a full-game is not possible, we might still have a five-over game, But nothing is certain as of yet.
IND vs AUS: Toss delayed further
Bad news coming out from the center. Toss has been further delayed. The next inspection at 8 PM.
IND vs AUS: Inspection is underway
The on-field umpires, KN Ananthapadmanabhan and Nitin Menon, are out in the middle. The fourth umpire has also joined the two, as they take a close look at the conditions in the middle. Meanwhile, the groundstaff is sprinkling some sawdust on one of the wet patches near the boundary line.

IND vs AUS: Will Bumrah make his comeback?
Death bowling has been India’s Achilles heel, and the form of Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been a concern for the team. There has been talk that Jasprit Bumrah could make his return after recovering from an injury. The star pacer has been bowling in the nets, but it all comes down to whether he is match fit or not.
Toss in 15 minutes. Stay tuned
