TikTok Stops Running For US Customers Forward Of Federal Stop

TikTok has shut down in the US. Recently, users faced problems on the app. Users on TikTok received a message that the app will not be available right now, sorry for that. It was also written in the message that Donald Trump can work towards providing relief after taking over as the US President. Actually, the app stopped its operations a day earlier because the app has to face a ban in America from January 19. Due to the law passed by President Joe Biden, the company cannot operate in America from January 19.

In fact, a bill signed into law by President Joe Biden in April was signed into law. Under this law, China’s ByteDance (TikTok owner) will have to face a ban in America on January 19. Due to this law, TikTok has only one option in America at this time. That is, the company should sell itself to an American company. If it does not do this then it will have to leave the American market. TikTok has 170 million (about 17 crore) users in America.

The effect of this law is now visible on TikTok. According to Apple Hub, the TikTok app has been removed from the American App Pack. Along with this, the app has also disappeared from Google Play games pack. Many users in America saw the message of offline after opening TikTok. But the app has high hopes from Donald Trump that Donald Trump can provide some relief in this matter.

America’s newly elected President Donald Trump is going to take office on January 20, after which he can give relief to TikTok which could be up to 90 days. However, no final decision has been taken yet by Trump regarding this. If media reports are to be believed, as soon as Trump takes a final decision in this regard, he can make this announcement himself.
