Former WhatsApp Global Business Head Neeraj Arora has created a new app called Hallapp, which works as an advertisement, private social network. This app is being described as a “real-relationship network”, which will give users a chance to interact with real life with their contacts. Arora has developed Hallapp in collaboration with Michael Donohue, its former WhatsApp colleague. Both Arora and Donohue were among the early employees of the instant messaging app that FB bought in 2014. Interestingly, there are many features in Hallapp, which make it not only WhatsApp but also a close contestant of Facebook.

Arora launched Hallapp on Twitter Announcement of. He says that unlike the traditional social media platform, his app comes with any advertising, bot, likes and followers and inspires you only to come online for your real friends.

Hallapp asks for access to your phone address book to connect you with people available on your network. However, on the company’s blog, Arora has clearly stated that the platform does not collect, collect or use any personal information of its users.
