The smartphone whose launch was angry at the launch

OnePlus 3 was launched at the beginning of the year. It was praised. Many people also called it the best Android phone ever. It is not shocking that people have now taken the OnePlus 3T in hand. But many have also been disappointed. Users who were confused about buying a phone of Rs 30,000, now they have got the option of better version of a good phone. If you have bought OnePlus 3, then it is sure to feel bad. OnePlus 3T has a better Snapdragon 821 chipset (Snapdragon 820 processor in OnePlus 3), a 16 -megapixel front camera with high resolution and a 3400 mAh battery. Most of the users will not see much difference in performance. But there will be a tightness of improvement in the camera and battery department. We have also mentioned this in review.

It is not that OnePlus is the only company that did this experiment with one of its products. Recently, many companies have disappointed the early customers of their product by using similar experiments. Let us introduce you to such products.

1) Moto G Turbo
Moto G (Gen 3) was launched in July 2015. It was seen as a competent upgrade of Moto G (Gen 2). It was given gripper design, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, IPX 7 water resistance, better battery life and Snapdragon 410 quad-core chipset.

But the customers of this phone were shocked within 4 months when the company introduced the Moto G Turbo Edition.

Its price was more than Rs 2,500 from Moto G (Gen 3). It was given octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset, IP67 certification and turbo charger. With the help of turbo charger, the phone’s battery is capable of running for 6 hours in just 15 minutes of charging.

2) Galaxy Note 5 Dual SIM
This year is not good for the Galaxy Note series. But last year too, Samsung also annoyed early Note 5 customers.

The Galaxy Note 5 was launched in India in September 2015. This year was very interesting for the Note series. Usually the Galaxy S series features last year’s notes with series. But this time the Galaxy Note 5 phone of the Note series used glass and aluminum design like Galaxy S6. It also used 14 nenometers of Exynos 7420 octa-core chipset. It was accompanied by more RAM, big battery and stylus pens.

Just four months later, Samsung introduced the dual SIM model of the Galaxy Note 5. And there was no change in its price. There is no doubt that the demand for phones with dual SIM card slots is more in the market like India and China. Knowing this, Samsung’s first single SIM variant is to be launched and no gesture about dual SIM variants, and it was to be introduced after 4 months. In such a situation, early customers of Note 5 were very angry.

3) Oppo F1S
The Oppo F1S was launched in August this year. It is like an iPhone in appearance. The price is also not very high. Exclusive features such as Panorama selfie go in favor of Oppo F1S.

But the company has introduced an upgraded variant of Oppo F1S within three months. It comes with 4 GB RAM instead of 3 GB RAM. Inbuilt storage has also been increased to 64 GB instead of 32 GB. There is a difference of only Rs 1,000 in the price of both. Given the price difference, this is a big upgrade. In such a situation, the initial customers will be angry.

When more companies annoyed their customers
Xiaomi Mi 5 was launched in India in February 2016. In September, the company launched the M5S in the market. However, this phone has not been launched in India yet. It is expected that the company will delay a little so that initial customers are not angry.

Sony introduces a new product every 6 months in its flagship z series. In such a situation, customers are sure to be disappointed. HTC has also confused several times with its product. The latest example is HTC 10 Evo which the company introduced as a weak variant of HTC 10. The surprising thing is that HTC 10 Evo is better than HTC 10 in many ways, such as water resistance.
