Now the news has come that one such alleged waste put China in trouble. According to China’s official media, the attack of Space debris on its Tiangong Area Station was partially affected. The incident is reported to be on 1 March, when the astronauts of the Shanejhou 17 mission were being spacewalking.

The Tiangong Space Station operates China’s Space Agency CMSA. According to media reports, the Chinese astronauts were doing spacewalk, when the space debris was hit on the outpost of the space station. Due to this, there was a problem related to electricity supply.

CMSA said at a press conference that the spacewalk was successful despite this disturbance during the spacewalk. The agency says that in the future it will be immediately to protect its space station from space waste. Deputy Director of the Chinese Space Agency said that due to the impact of space waste on the power cables of the solar wing, the core module ‘Tianhe’ (Tianhe) of Space Station had to face lack of electricity.

However, China has not confirmed this debris was a micro-meter or a satellite garbage. But more likely, it may be a waste of a satellite. Such waste is being seen as the biggest challenge of space companies in the coming time.

China itself leaves them on their condition after the life of all its missions is completed, while such satellites should be settled properly. In recent years, the number of space mission launch has increased which will increase the scope of space waste in future. The most challenge will come in the low-end orbit ie the lower orbit of the earth. The most satellites are present in low-end orbit.
