Play launches ‘PlayFit Champ 2′ smartwatch, price starts at Rs 1,799 – Times of India

Tech accessories brand Play has expanded its wearable lineup with the launch of its latest smartwatch — the PlayFit Champ 2. This newest addition to Play’s product portfolio comes with a 1.69-inch TFT display, Bluetooth v5.0 support, multiple exercise modes, and an IP68 rating, which makes it water and splash-resistant.

The smartwatch is originally priced at Rs 2,999 but, for now, it can be purchased at a special price tag of Rs 1,799 on the official websites of Play and Amazon. It comes in Black, Rose Gold, Cool Grey and Indigo Blue colour options.
PlayFIT Champ 2: Features and specifications
The Playfit Champ 2 smartwatch sports a 1.69-inch TFT display with a square dial case made of ABS material. The screen offers a resolution of 240×280 pixels. It features multiple exercise modes, including walking, badminton, skipping, cycling, basketball, football, and running, and keeps track of your daily activities.
In terms of health monitoring, the wearable device can monitor your heart rate, blood oxygen levels, blood pressure and sleep. It also comes with a female health tracker.
The Playfit Champ 2 is compatible with iOS 9.0 or above and Android 4.4 or above. It comes equipped with Bluetooth v5.0 support for connectivity and offers mobile notifications on your wrist. The device can be linked to the Playfit mobile app for continued health and activity-tracking.
As mentioned before, the Playfit Champ 2 smartwatch is IP68-rated, which makes it water and dust-resistant. It is backed by a 230mAh battery, which is claimed to offer 30 days of battery life on standby and up to 5 days on normal usage.
The Playfit Champ 2 smartwatch’s other features include notification alert for voice calls, call rejection, SMS and messages, find device feature, music control, alarm clock, timer, stopwatch, camera control, DND, brightness control, wake up gesture, vibration, weather forecast and a theatre mode too, which reduces the brightness of the display and turns off the vibration when activated.
