Oppo Reno 8 series event is scheduled for later today via an event. At the event, the smartphone maker is expected to introduce two new smartphones along with the next generation of its ‘premium’ TWS earbuds and also its first tablet in India. Here’s everything that we can expect Oppo to launch today.
Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro 5G
The Oppo Reno 8 series will take the centre stage of today’s launch event. The lineup will most likely include the regular Reno 8 5G and the Pro version of the smartphone. The company has already revealed a couple of features about the upcoming smartphones which include MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset, 120Hz refresh rate display, dual rear camera setup and 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.
Previous leaks and rumours have revealed that the Oppo Reno 8 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, while the Pro version will come with Dimensity 8100SoC.
Oppo Enco X2
Oppo Enco X2 comes as the successor to the last year’s Oppo Enco X TWS earbuds. This is the company’s flagship TWS earbuds and as expected will be backed by the DynaAudio technology.
Oppo Enco X2, according to the company, is the world’s first TWS earbuds to support Dolby Audio binaural recording.
Oppo Pad Air
Oppo is also set to debut in the tablet space with the launch of its first tablet in India. The company will be launching the Pad Air at the event today. As per the listing page on the company’s official website, the tablet will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with up to 4GB RAM and 3GB expandable RAM.
The tablet is expected to feature a dual-tone back with a single rear camera at the back.
