Swiggy’s new membership plan launched, unlimited free delivery will be available! Learn how

Swiggy has launched an upgraded membership program called Swiggy One. This subscription plan is offering free delivery, discounts and many types of benefits to the members of all online delivery platforms for many things for many things like food, grocery etc. That is, till now swiggy used to give this service only for its partner restaurant. But under this new plan, it is going to provide this service for all online food, grocery platforms. Swiggy says it will have many more offering in the coming months such as its pickup and drop service will be given additional discounts and benefits on Swiggy Genie and Meat Stores.

The price of the new Swiggy One Membership Plan is Rs 299 for the first three months and Rs 899 for the whole year. This means that a member will spend only Rs 75 a month under the annual plan. This plan is currently live in four cities including Lucknow, Pune, Trivandrum and Vijayawada. It is being said that in the next two weeks it will expand in more than 500 cities. Swiggy has confirmed that all existing super subscribers will automatically be upgraded to Swiggy One for the remaining period of their active membership. He will also get a one -month Complimentary Extension on his current plan.

Swiggy one subscription gives unlimited free delivery from more than 70 thousand popular restaurants as well as unlimited free instalmate delivery on all orders above Rs 99. All member partners of Swiggi One can avail additional discounts up to 30 percent on their food orders from the restaurant. The company says that Swiggy One will soon give a discount to its members on a genie delivery. Nothing has been cleared yet when the extension will be available for users.

A few months ago, Swiggy’s rival Zomato introduced Zomato Professional Plus Subscription Plan, causing unlimited free delivery on the platform to charge no surge fee and no distance fees. Although it has been introduced as an ‘Invite onlly membership’ system, which means only a few selected users have been able to take membership of Zomato Professional Plus Membership.
