Realme 5i
Reality 5i has once again become part of this list. But the price of the device is no longer there. At the time of launch, Realme 5i was priced at Rs 8,999. But after the change in GCT rates, the price of this handset has increased. The price of 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants of Reality 5I now starts at Rs 9,999, while the price of 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variants has increased to Rs 10,999.
Reality 5I was launched in early 2020. It comes with a new design and is also attractive. It has four rear cameras on the back. We found its primary camera fully capable. Especially in the day, but the details could be better. Reality 5i has an ultra-wind-angle camera, due to which the wide field of view is available. But the level of detail is nothing special, especially compared to primary camera. Close up shots came well, but the performance was disappointed in low light.
Realme 5i has power in battery life. But there is no fast charger in it.
Samsung Galaxy M30
Samsung Galaxy M30 is a year -old smartphone throughout the year and has become a part of the price segment of Rs 10,000 due to the price being reduced several times. It comes with full-HD+ AMOLED display, which is not common for this price range. Samsung Galaxy M30 is made of plastic, but it gives a solid build feel. Samsung sells this phone in many color gradients.
The Samsung Galaxy M30 has an Exynos 7904 processor which is not the most powerful processor in this price range. You get two variants based on RAM and storage- 32 GB storage with 3 GB RAM and 128 GB storage with 6 GB RAM.
We liked the battery life of this phone, but the charging speed is very slow. The user interface is clean and easy to use. We found that the triple rear camera setup of Samsung Galaxy M30 is fine. It took good pictures in daylight. But the performance could have been better in low light. Today, you will get the initial variant of Samsung Galaxy M30 for less than Rs 10,000.
Realme U1
Reality U1 is another handset that became economical with passage. This phone is a little old, but is still worth working today. The specification of the device is going to draw attention. Realme U1 comes with full-HD+ display which is not common in this price range.
The MediaTek Helio P70 processor has been used in Reality U1. It is capable of giving strong performance. It has a dual camera setup and takes fine pictures in daylight. Its performance disappointed us in low light. Autofocus is also not very fast. The 25 -megapixel camera given in Reality U1 takes good pictures in daylight. But the performance is not complimentary in low light.
Redmi 8
Redmi 8 was part of the list of best smartphones found for less than Rs 8,000 earlier. But after changes in GCT rates, it has become part of this segment. The build quality of Redmi 8, launched as an upgrade of Redmi 7, is good. The design is also beautiful and has a USB Type-C port. Apart from this, the handset also supports 18 watt fast charging.
In Redmi 8 you get HD+ screen, but its processor is a bit weak compared to Redmi 7. You will be able to play games on this phone. But its performance will lag behind in more powerful graphics games. The camera performance is similar to the rest of the handset.
The only variant of Xiaomi Redmi 8 is found in the cell. It comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage and its price is Rs 8,999.
