Announcing the acquisition, Spotify said in its blog, “We are investing on building and scales of the world’s best (and most personalized) podcast Discovery Experience.” As we said Podz is a platform that helps users to discover the new podcast per day, depending on their tests and choice. PodZ admits its users three episodes daily on different basis.
The blog further states, “We are confident that the technology of Podz will be supplemented and intensified to Spotify’s focused efforts to promote the discovery of podz, to provide the right material at the right time and accelerate category development around the world.”
Spotify is going to bring podz technology on its platform soon, it has been said that users will be able to experience this new element on the sports platform by the end of this year.
