Shopkeepers will also get a sound alert for payments on Google Pay

Google, associated with online search, has introduced the facility of giving information to merchants through soundboxes for payments on its Google Pay app in India. It is similar to the sound alert of payments received by merchants on Paytm and PhonePe. Google Pay device has an in-built speaker and a LCD display. It supports different languages.

This device is being provided to select merchants without any additional cost. Earlier, merchants receiving payment through Paytm, PhonePe and Bharatpe get information about receiving payment through soundbox. According to Techcrunch report, Google has brought its soundbox. It is being given to selected merchants in North India including New Delhi. There is a QR code on the front part of Google Pay’s soundbox which will be linked to the registered phone number with the bank’s bank. Customers will be able to scan this QR code and make payments through UPI. After the payment, the payment amount will be received from the soundbox.

Google Pay has introduced new techniques of catching fraud to make digital payments more secure. This will alert users to several level warnings about suspicious activities in their account. The company said that it is using machine learning to catch fraud transactions.

Google had reported that it has added new security features for his UPI-based payment app. The company said that the app would use advanced methods to analyze the pattern of transactions of millions of users and users will be alerted about fraud activities or suspicious requests of payment. Users will be warned in their chosen language. In some cases, vibrations will also be used on the app to catch the attention of users. Apart from this, Google Pay has launched a new feature so that users will be able to easily see the records of their transactions. The company has also upgraded for its Recordsdata app on Android. Users will easily get access to Authentic Digital Documents on Diglocker from Google app. The documents stored in this app will be safe on the device and they can be accessed by the use of a unique lock screen authentication from Digilocker.
