Samsung would passibly lend Qi 2 Charging Aid in Galaxy Z Line 7, Checklist on WPC Database Displays

South Korea’s smartphone maker Samsung’s foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Line 7 can be launched next month. Some leaks have been reported about this book-style foldable smartphone. Galaxy Z Turn 7 can also be introduced with it.

Galaxy Z Line 7 has been seen on the wireless power consortium (WPC) website. Its model number is SM-D617D. This listing has indicated support for QI 2.1 wireless charging. It can support the baseline power profile (BPP). This means that this smartphone will not have built-in magnets for wireless charging or magnetic accessories. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series also supported QI charging and BPP. However, to use this charging technology, users have to use the QI2 Committee case.

Recently, tipster Ice Universe had reported that slim and lightweight design can be placed in Samsung’s next flagship devices. The company’s Galaxy Z Line 7 can be 3.9 mm and 8.9 mm if folded. In comparison, the thickness of Galaxy Z Line 6 is 12.2 mm and 5.6 mm for unfolding. China’s smartphone maker Oppo claims that its to Find N5 is the thinnest foldable smartphone. On folding it, the thickness is 8.93 mm and 4.21 mm for unfolding. The Galaxy Z Line 7 may have a 200 -megapixel primary rear camera. Last year, there was a similar camera in the company’s Galaxy S25 Extremely introduced in select markets.

This tipster says that the Galaxy Z Line 7 will have a 4,400 mAh battery, which is similar to the battery of Galaxy Z Line 6 introduced last year.
