Samsung on Thursday informed through a press release that it had a partnership with the owner of Paytm brand One97 Communications, in which now Samsung Galaxy device users will now get Access of Paytm service on Samsung Pockets. In this, users will be able to flight and bus booking, movie ticket shopping and event booking. The service has been started. The aim of both companies is to make the Bikung Experience of their users easy and enjoyable. Galaxy smartphone users using Paytm app for flight, bus and movie booking and Paytm Insider app for booking will be able to add your tickets to Samsung Wallet directly to Samsung Wallet using ‘Upload to Samsung Pockets’ functionality.
With this, Samsung Galaxy device users will avoid long lines in the ticket counter in airports, bus terminals, cinema halls, events etc. and will be able to take entry by showing store tickets in the wallet directly. Not only this, Samsung India and Paytm will soon offer discount offers of up to Rs 1,150 on the first booking in the newly launched services.
Because Paytm app is considered a popular platform for travel and event booking for Indians, its partnership with Samsung opens new avenues for users to reach Paytm service.
On this occasion, Madhur Chaturvedi, senior director of Samsung India’s MX Business, said, “Samsung Wallet is a popular mobile tap and pay solution in India, which has been constantly developing since its launch in 2017. We are happy to launch new features on Samsung Wallet in collaboration with Paytm. These features allow Galaxy smartphone users to easily buy movies and events along with bus and airline tickets, without the need to switch between several apps. Apart from this, users can access these tickets by swipe on the home screen of their Galaxy smartphone. ”
