Samsung confirmed on Thursday that the Galaxy S25 Edge would be launched on 13 May. This ultra-slim smartphone will be exposed in the virtual Galaxy Unpacked event to be held on this day. Samsung has introduced it as its new slim smartphone, which claims to install new standard in mobile performance. The Galaxy S25 Edge will get a 200-megapixel main rear camera, which will be similar to the Galaxy S25 extramely.
A recent leak reported that 256GB and 512GB storage variants of Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge could be priced at EUR 1,249 (about Rs 1,19,000) and EUR 1,369 (about Rs 1,30,000) respectively. It can be introduced in titanium jetblack, titanium IC and titanium silver color.
So far, Samsung has not shared much about the specifications of the upcoming smartphone. It is believed that it will work on Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy Chipset, similar to Galaxy S25, which would have been paired with 12GB RAM. It can get a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, which will have a refresh rate of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels and 120Hz. This will probably come with Android 15-based One UI 7.
In addition to a 200 megapixel main sensor in the phone, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter can be found. It has a 12 -megapixel front camera sensor for selfie and video calls. Leaks indicates that the phone will get a 3,900mAh battery.
The thickness of the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be 5.85mm and weighing 163 grams. It can have a titanium middle frame with glass back and front panels that will have Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection respectively. It will have an IP68 rated build to protect against dust and water.
