Quoting the Russian news agency Tass, Spacedotcom wrote that on July 2, Russia’s Space Agency Roscosmos (Roscosmos) spoke about its planning. She is working on a space station named Russian Orbital Service Station (Ross).
According to the report, Russia can launch the first module of X-size by 2027. It will be a research and power node. Similarly, by 2030 and four modules will be launched. By 2033, two major modules will be added to them. Roskosmos is planned to send the first party of astronauts to the space station in 2028. It is also suggested that the space station be operated without a crew.
According to the report, Russia’s space station will also work at the same height at which the International Space Station is present. It is 400 km above the earth. The Russian Space Agency believes that this place is beneficial for focusing the entire surface of the Earth. The estimated cost of Russia’s space station is around US $ 7 billion.
An important link of Russia’s space station is also its Angara A5 Rocket. It is believed that this rocket will take the modules of space station. This rocket has been very successful to a large extent, but so far it has been tested only.
