Before starting the camera performance of Redmi Note 9 Pro and Reality 6, let us tell you some of the main highlights of these two cameras. Xiaomi’s Redmi Observe 9 comes with a quad rear camera setup with 48 megapixel Samsung GM2 primary sensor. On the other hand, a 64 -megapixel primary camera is available in the rear camera setup of Realme 6. Even though the Reality 6 smartphone in paper is visible one step ahead of the Redmi Note 8 Pro, the performance of the camera does not depend only on megapixels. To overcome this dilemma, we are going to review the camera performance of Redmi Observe 9 Professional and Realme 6.
Redmi observe 9 professional vs realme 6 costs and variants
Before starting the review, they also take a look at the price of Redmi Note 9 Pro and Reality 6. Redmi Observe 9 Professional’s 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants have an initial price in India at Rs 12,999. Apart from this, there is also a 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, which costs Rs 15,999.
Reality 6 also costs a similar price. The opening price of 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants of the phone is Rs 12,999 in India. However, 6 GB RAM of Realme 6 and 128 GB storage variants is Rs 1,000 cheaper than the Redmi Note 9 Pro i.e. Rs 14,999. Reality has also launched Reality 6 in an additional 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variants, priced at Rs 15,999. Here the Realme 6 smartphone with 2 GB additional RAM goes one step ahead of Redmi Observe 9 Professional.
Redmi Observe 9 Professional vs Realme 6 Cameras
Both phones have four rear cameras, but sensors and lenses are quite different from each other. The Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 48-megapixel Samsung GM2 primary sensor. Apart from this, the phone has an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, 5-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the other hand, Reality 6 has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel macro camera and a depth sensor, whose relevance is not given by the company. Both phones have 16-megapixel front cameras for selfie.
Both autofocus are quite fast on the phone. When we take pictures in the daylight, we found that the Realme 6 camera performs better. Compared to the Redmi Note 9 Pro, it contains the details of the distant subject and the colors also look more natural. Redmi Observe 9 makes the professional photos quite sharp and also increases the tone of colors. If the shots taken from the wide-angle cameras of both the phones, the details in the pictures taken from the Redmi Note 9 Pro look better. This phone is also good for macro shots. Both phones have close-ups almost the same. However, the colors appear good in the camera of Realme 6 and texture is also good.
Even in low light, Realme 6 created better details and exposure in the dark area of photographs. However, the wide-angle cameras of Reality 6 performed a little better in the photos taken from the wide-angle camera.
Talking about selfie, we found that Reality 6 makes good details in selfie and also processes the skin tone better. However, Redmi Observe 9 Professional also did not appear behind Reality 6 in this segment. Both selfie cameras gave average performance in low light, yet if one is to declare one winner, then we will tell Realme 6 better here. Low-light photos taken from Reality 6 came a little warm. In the pictures taken on the screen flash on both phones, the photos of Redmi Observe 9 Professional brought bright colors, which is a good thing, but the camera app increased the tone of colors greatly at the time of processing. Reality 6 took a good selfie with more accurate colors.

Realme 6 and Redmi Observe 9 can shoot both 4K resolution videos, but without stabilization. During the day, the Redmi Note 9 Pro takes a lot of enhanced color in the video, while Realme 6 captures the more real -looking footage. The Redmi Note 9 Pro makes better stability in 1080 pixels, but once again it increases the colors too much.
The footage recorded with both phones on 4K in low light is filled with nois (extremely small particles), but Realme 6 captures the better color. Footage at 1080 pixels still comes grainy, but the Reality 6 smartphone makes better exposure and details than the Redmi Observe 9 Professional. Talking about the recording made with wide-angle cameras, the Redmi Note 9 Pro performs better performance here. However, here in low light, both phones captured a lot of dark video, which was not even worth running.
