Twitter started voice tweets on its platform last year to tweet with their voice. This helps post tweets on Twitter quickly, without typing Matter in text. After posting your initial voice tweet, you can also add your text tweets as a follow-up. This enhances not only for tweet users but also for their followers as they will be able to listen to the tweets posted on the platform instead of reading their messages. Voice tweets also bring an individual touch on Twitter as people can post updates on microblogging networks using their voice.

Voice tweets on Twitter have been limited to iOS users since the launch in June last year. This means that only Twitter has the ability to record and post your voice tweets for the iOS app. However, apart from iOS, people on desktop, Android and platform also have the ability to run voice tweets posted by iOS users. The company has also added the option of giving auto-generated transcript recently.

Before taking steps on how you can use voice tweets on Twitter, it is important to keep in mind that you can record for two minutes and 20 seconds for each individual voice tweet. If your message is longer than the given deadline, your message will automatically be threaded up to 25 tweets.

1. Open the Twitter app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on the tweet composed icon from the bottom right side.
3. Now hit the ‘Vavelanth’ voice tweet icon available above the keyboard. This will start to record your message.
4. When you finish your message, tap on Performed.

You can add follow-up tweets to text in your voice tweet. However, it is worth noting here that you cannot post audio tweets through answers and Quote Tweet feature. You can only record your voice tweets as original tweets. Twitter does not allow users to upload any audio file directly as a voice tweet on their platform.
