According to Bitdefender report, at least 60,000 Android apps have been found in the last six months. The adhware often works to run advertisements in the background and they also have a bad effect in the battery backup of the smartphone. They also affect the performance of smartphones.
Reports suggest that infected apps are available on the official Google Play Games Bind, but on the search through Google search on the third-party app store or websites. Not only this, many of these third-party apps mimic popular apps like Netflix, YouTube, Tiktok as well as claim to give ad-free experience of free VPN or premium apps.
This website can make the common user a good stupid, because when a user allegedly opens a third-party website from Google search, it is taken to an advertising page, which looks similar to a valid download page, but it actually installs the adhaware on the device.
Once the app is installed and opened in the smartphone, it shows the error message and shows the option to uninstall the app. Now, even if a user uninstalls it, the adware remains in the smartphone and walks in the background.
