Opera claims, new feature will get 50 percent more battery life than Chrome


Opera on Thursday introduced a new feature for its Windows and OS X browser. The company claims that the new feature will increase the battery life of the laptop by 50 percent compared to the previous opera browser and Google Chrome.

The new ‘power saving’ is available in a developer stream and automatically works. The company says that once the laptop’s power source is removed, the opera browser will show the battery icon after search and address field. Users can click on the battery icon to activate ‘power saving mode’. Along with finding out the battery of the opera browser laptop, userko power saving mode will also advise (if the laptop is working on low power).

Announcing the new feature, the company said, “It is extremely bad to finish the laptop battery while traveling, watching the video or when you have forgotten your charger. Our new power saving mode will tell you when the laptop is consuming more battery and it can increase the battery life up to 50 percent when enabled. ”

Opera said in its Test that the latest developer version of the users could get up to 50 percent more battery life than the second browser.

The new developer version of Opera 39 is currently available to download on the company’s website. Opera further stated that a test to manage memory is also being done in the developer version.

Opera has included several new features for its browser in recent times, including Ed-blocker. Opera VPN was released with Built-in aid-Block for iOS.
