Netflix putting off 22 video games from July Hades Monument Valley Rainbow Six Ludo King Extra

Netflix Video Games is an essential update for users. If you also play games on mobile through Netflix, some favorite games may have to be said goodbye from next month. Netflix has confirmed that it is going to remove more than 20 titles from its gaming portfolio since July 2025. It also includes many famous games like Hades, Monument Valley, Katana 0 and Braid. The special thing is that Hades will be removed from the Netflix Games on 1 July itself, while the rest of the games will be removed by 14 July.

According to The Verge’s report, Netflix has taken this decision due to the low engagement and strategy shift of the Games. Now the company is focusing on the Indie Games to more multiplayer, franchise based and kid-friendly gaming experience. The report also said that some of the best Indie titles in the Netflix Games library are being removed, which has created a stir among the gamers.

This change will have the most impact on those users who used to access these titles through Netflix subscription. Hades, which is a fan-fake roll-playing game, will no longer be available on mobile only through Netflix. However, publishers like Devolver Virtual have confirmed that they will release Hades and Katana 0 as a premium title on mobile app stores.

List of all the games to be removed:

  • Battleship

This step of Netflix shows that the company is now moving towards making its gaming segment more commercial and mainstream. Users are being advised to play the games that are going to be removed before July 14. Once removed, these games will not be seen again on the Netflix app.
